The Simplest Reflexology Foot Chart... Ever

There are over 5000 reflex points under your feet.

Therefore, to accurately draw, name and pinpoint all of them on one reflexology foot chart is confusing, especially for the novice.

Luckily... a refreshingly simple solution is at hand.

A reflexology foot chart is a guide to where reflex points are located under your feet. Most reflexology foot charts differ slightly from each other, mainly due to copyright regulations, so use them as points of reference rather than laws cast in stone. Some reflexology foot charts can be confusing because of the vast volume of information contained in just two feet, so, here are some easy to read reflexology foot charts to direct you point by point.

Stress and Tension

The first two reflex points of interest are the jaw and the adrenal gland. One or the other of these points will hurt when pressed, depending on whether you are stressed or under tension. It’s a quick way to find out which one you are.

Neck to Coccyx On the next reflexology foot chart we follow the whole back from top to bottom. The reflex points are located along the bone on the side of your foot.

Shoulder to Foot On the little toe side, as you’ll see on this reflexology foot chart, are the points for the shoulder/armpit, arm, hand, hip, knee and foot. Notice that the points follow a natural order in relationship to your body. The little toe reflex point often hurts when we have too much lymph in our upper body, arm, shoulder and/or neck.

The left foot has the reflex points for the left side of the body, and similarly, the right foot relates to the right side.

Intestinal Tract

As the picture on this reflexology foot chart shows, the large intestine starts on the right foot and travels over to the left. Usually when pressing slowly along the colon area, in the direction of the arrows, the stomach starts to make gurgling noises.

This is good! nature is on the move!
Brain, Eyes and Ears We look at the brain on this reflexology foot chart. The brain spot can hurt for many different reasons; one of which is, that you may have had, at some time, suffered a concussion. Another reason may be that the endocrine (hormonal) gland, called the pituitary gland is not working to its fullest capacity.

On the same reflexology foot chart, you will see sinus points on all four toes. The toe closest to the big toe is the part of the sinus closest to the nose. This hurts most if you have a cold or narrowing of the nasal passages.

The little toe sinus point generally hurts when you are tense. The pressure comes from the jaw when clamping or grinding your teeth

Liver, Kidneys and Stomach The liver reflex point is quite large on the reflexology foot chart because the liver is, in fact, a very large organ in the body. The liver filters the blood and can be knocked out of balance by alcohol, drugs and other ‘rubbish’ that enters your system.

The stomach sits more on the left side of the body and therefore you’ll find it on the left foot on the reflexology foot chart. This point will be a little tender if pressed after you have just eaten. This reflexology foot chart also shows the kidneys, which will hurt when pressed, if, for example, you drink too little water.

Trachea and Bronchia

There are a few very interesting points to note on this next reflexology foot chart, as it relates to the bronchia and trachea, better known as the windpipe and food tube. A good party trick is to press the windpipe reflex point of a smoker before and after they have a cigarette. Little or no pain before, but lots of pain afterward.

The right foot also hurts at this point for those with Asthma. The left foot reflex point shown here will hurt for other reasons like an oesophagus problem caused by rising stomach acid.

The highest concentration of nerve endings in your body are in your feet. Using a wooden roller on your feet increases circulation, relieves tension, relaxes foot muscles and revitalizes your body.

Now you know some of the basic and most used reflex points.

This is a good foundation for those new to this ancient art. So, have fun and get going, using your clear and easy to follow reflexology foot chart.
